Multi-tenant SaaS reforestation management platform.
The environmental solutions arm of an enterprise came to us looking to modernize and scale their existing tree planting management app. The original application had been developed organically and was showing its age. The authentication was causing user friction, the payroll and Google Sheets integrations were increasingly complex to maintain, and there was no path to offering the software as a product to other planting companies.

Taking the existing functionality as a starting point, we architected and built a scalable, maintable, production-ready multi-tenant SaaS platform from the gound up.
The platform was built on GCP with infrastructure-as-code via Terraform deployed through GitHub Actions. We implemented comprehensive RBAC to support the different user types in the tree planting workflow, and implemented role-specific dashboards, Mapbox integration for GIS data visualization, and CSV/PDF import-export capabilities.
It now supports the internal operations of the organization while providing the foundation to offer the platform as a multi-tenant SaaS product to other silviculture companies across the industry.
