Jig - a bootstrapped e-commerce platform.
After discovering strong values alignment over happy hour beers at our shared co-working office, Autotelic partnered with Vancouver-based community supported fishery (CSF) Skipper Otto to build a replacement e-commerce platform for their membership-focused direct sales of sustainable seafood.

Skipper Otto needed to replace their existing system, which they had pushed beyond the limits of its capabilities, and weren't able to satisfy their feature requirements with off-the-shelf SaaS products. We worked closely with their executive, product and delivery teams to research, design and build software that would facilitate their specific business model, but be designed and architected from the start as a multi-tenant SaaS that would be the foundation of a flexible general purpose e-commerce platform.
We built a robust API, paired with multiple frontends: a consumer-facing web application, a comprehensive administration UI and a backend warehouse application for staff to manage order fulfilment, packing workflows and distribution logistics.
